About this Drive
CEAT has partnered with WBB and we are embarking on a long expedition from Cape Town to Dubai traversing through South Africa, Namibia, Botswana, Zambia, Tanzania, Kenya, Ethiopia, Egypt, Saudi Arabia and UAE, covering over 26000kms starting 1st of July this year. We are inviting participants in different legs. Have just 2 seats to offer though on each leg. Here’s the first one in South Africa.
We are on first of its kind overland self drive exploration from Africa to Arabia, i.e. from Cape Town to Dubai undertaken by a resilient all Indian crew on Indian vehicles, driven on Indian tyres to document offbeat experiences, sights & scenes, remote landscapes, mingle with forgotten cultures to facilitate seamless overland travel for future overlanders.
In each country, we have two seats to spare in certain legs; we invite interested travelers to join us for short sections
You can fly in to the nearest airport, join the WBB crew as they explore & document the best of South Africa on this massive first of its kind expedition.
You are welcome to live the expedition way of life with us for a few days.
Do book your seat if this interests you. Look forward to you joining us. Cheers!

What We Care About @ WBB
- Love for Wilderness: We are deeply passionate about remote, forgotten, lesser-known lands, and pristine natural areas. We believe in preserving these areas and minimizing our impact on them.
- Sustainable Travel: WBB is committed to sustainable travel. We ensure our expeditions minimize environmental impact and benefit local communities in various ways.
- Limited Convoy Size: By design, we do not operate large groups or massive convoys to reduce our footprint.
- Waste Management: We use reusable items, carry back all waste, and follow a zero-litter policy. Cleaning and litter checks are key team roles.
- Regulated Visits: We regulate the frequency of our visits to specific areas to prevent overuse.
- Local Engagement: We hire local resources and embed ourselves into the local economy as much as possible.
- Orientation: Prior to each expedition, we conduct an orientation to sensitize the team to environmental, cultural, and other sensitivities in the area.
